The name Liverada is inspired by a small piece of land in the area of Kallithea Patras, famed for the unique terroir and quality of produced grapes.
Livera or Liverada is the name of a mystery ancient Roman goddess, whose worship is connected to land and vine fertility, wine drinking and preservation of freedom.
The residents of the area connect the name with Ottoman occupation period: Libero means Free.

|Exclusively from the winery’s private vineyards in the area of Kallithea Patras. The vines’ age exceeds 40 years. Low yield that ranges from 400 to 450 kg / ha.|
|Manual harvesting in small baskets and destemming. Fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel vinificator. Aged in French oak barrels 225lt, for 12-18 months.|
|Deep red colour with purple hues. Aromas of ripe black fruit, plum and blackberry combined with notes of pepper, clove and vanilla. Exuberant structure, robust tannins, with long aftertaste. Ageing potential for several years.|
